Silvermist Mountain Lodge
Get married far above the city with the Constantia Mountains as your backdrop. Quietly and peacefully and surrounded by forests and valleys. Silvermist Mountain Lodge venue is a large hall, that while needing some work lends itself to a fairytale wedding. You’ll need twinkly lights and decor to turn it into your ballroom, but its highly possible.
The only negative about this otherwise beautiful venue, is that the dance floor is through a couple of double doors and on an enclosed verandah which doesn’t always work if you want your dancefloor to be a part of your reception.
Loads of accommodation on offer, you really don’t need to drive far afterwards. Coupled with a beautiful chapel down the road at Kirstenbosch gardens – you have the making of a dream romantic wedding.
