In May 2007 I got engaged in a secluded location on the coast of Italy, and in December 2008 we were married in a beautiful Italian restaurant on a wine farm in South Africa, where we both originally are from.

While I wanted to be really involved in the planning of our wedding, I wasn’t prepared to put the wedding day on hold until when I was living in South Africa. So we decided to plan.. from abroad.
Unable to fly back to SA at the drop of a hat, I did everything through correspondance and had to trust my mom and a few friends to source venues, churches, florists and photographers to name just a few.

What I needed, was someone that could show me the insides of venues – how they honestly looked and how they’d have worked for me and my ideas. The blank canvas. So that I could feel as if I was there, being involved in my own planning.

So this is what this site is about! If you’re a bride, living abroad and trying to plan your wedding in either Cape Town, Stellenbosch or Paarl – here’s where you’ll find the info on your venue!
